Unknown smiles under the pucker of their brows,
unexpected plans with friends from other towns,
family reunions rid of fear for our elders,
planes that take me on a voyage to my siblings,
suitcases from a life of constant nomadic changes,
the instants postponed, delayed, lost
by a defiant pause,
uncovering our souls, covering our mouths
all
so full of air.
